On Twitter the other day, David Anson asked, If someone is working 100% remotely, why should their pay be tied to which city they are in? They produce exactly the same work if they are in a big city vs. a farm house. “Cost of living” adjustments are for when the job forces people to work somewhere; that’s not relevant here.
