Taler Operations AG is establishing a presence in Germany, aiming to make the Taler payment system legally operational within the EU. The new company will initially facilitate payments in Germany and plan to expand to the Euro-zone, pending necessary licensure from Germany’s financial supervisory authority, BaFin.
