Multiprobe 0.1.0 is a new library for multi-protocol network probing, designed to provide better path analysis than traditional traceroutes by addressing issues like ECMP load balancing. It includes TCP, UDP, ICMP, and TLS probes, as well as features for latency measurement and path classification. Feedback on API ergonomics and suggestions for additional protocol support, such as QUIC, are welcomed.
