Building an anycast DNS/CDN/WAF

In 2012, Levi Durfee, head of a web department, discovered the ease of spinning up VPSs with dedicated IPs and a free CDN. Motivated by frustration with unreliable CDNs and a desire for control, he's building his own anycast network with DNS, caching, and WAF functionalities. Drawing on his experiences and current tools like BIRD and WireGuard, he plans to create a reliable service for personal use, potentially expanding it for others.
