Logarithm approximation curiosity

I’ve written before about three simple approximations for logarithms, for base 10 log10(x) ≈ (x – 1)/(x + 1) base e, loge(x) ≈ 2(x – 1)/(x + 1) and base 2 log2(x) ≈ 3(x – 1)/(x + 1).
