A fake version of the Ledger cryptocurrency wallet app was mistakenly listed on the Apple App Store, leading to losses of $9.5 million for users who unknowingly entered their sensitive information. One victim reported losing over $445,000 in Bitcoin. The app was removed six days after its addition to the store.
