Apple is updating its App Tracking Transparency framework in the EU, allowing developers to use an alternative system prompt for tracking users starting with iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. The permission requirements remain unchanged, and this alternative prompt is mandatory for apps in Germany, France, Italy, Poland, and Romania.
