This study develops a virtual reality (VR) task to assess pedestrian collision detection and avoidance in individuals with cerebral visual impairment (CVI). It compares CVI participants with control groups while navigating a simulated crowded shopping mall, revealing slower walking speeds, difficulties in detecting pedestrians, and varied mobility strategies among CVI individuals.
