Ostium loses at least $24 million to oracle exploit

Ostium, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange, suffered a loss of at least $24 million due to an attack that exploited its oracle system. The attacker gained access to a private key used for signing oracle messages, allowing them to submit fraudulent future-dated reports and drain funds from the protocol, which were subsequently laundered via Tornado Cash.
