Researchers at Darktrace Holdings have uncovered a case of cloud intrusion where an AI gateway connected to Amazon Bedrock was compromised and used for cryptocurrency mining. The attack involved an Amazon EC2 instance called 'LiteLLM-Proxy' which ran LiteLLM software.
