Africa's first space exploration mission, the Bounced African Low Lunar Sphere (BALLS), will be launched in 2029 aboard China's Chang’e-8 Moon lander. The Africa2Moon project includes two missions, with the first focusing on deploying a technology demonstrator on the Moon featuring three antennas.
