Writing a Boolean expression parser in Rust

While using my time tracking system, TagTime Web, I have on many occasions wanted to use some complex logic to select pings. My first implementation of this just had a simple way to include and exclude pings, but this later proved to be insufficent for my needs. I considered implementing a more complex system at first, but I decided it was a good idea to wait until the need actually arised before building a more complex system like this....
